Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Markdump, a personal service operated by Faruq Rasid that stores your markdown files so you and the AI assistants you authorize can read and write them. By using Markdump you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Markdump (“Markdump”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Faruq Rasid, based in Singapore. You can reach us at support@ruqqq.sg.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Markdump. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; there are no passwords. You are responsible for the security of the email account you use to sign in and for all activity under your account.

3. The service

Markdump lets you store, read, write, list, search, version, and delete markdown and related files, and lets AI assistants you authorize do the same on your behalf through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

4. Connected assistants

When you connect an MCP client such as ChatGPT or Claude, you grant that assistant access to read and write files in your library on your behalf. You are responsible for the assistants you connect and the actions they take with your authorization. Only connect tools you trust, and revoke access when you no longer need it. How a connected assistant’s provider handles your file content is governed by their terms and privacy policy, not ours.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the files and content you store on Markdump (“Your Content”). We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, store, back up, transmit, version, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating the service for you and the assistants you authorize.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to store and process it. Although the service is built for safety with soft deletes and versioning, you are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Markdump to:

• Store or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to store.
• Store malware, or use the service to attack, probe, or disrupt any system.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or content, or circumvent authentication, quotas, or rate limits.
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure, including via automated bulk requests beyond ordinary use.
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law.

7. Storage limits and fair use

The service enforces storage quotas and per-file limits (for example, file-size and path constraints). We may adjust these limits and may throttle or suspend usage that threatens the stability, security, or cost of the service.

8. Availability

Markdump is a personal service provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of it.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Markdump at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@ruqqq.sg. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we handle residual data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markdump is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that Your Content will never be lost or corrupted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markdump and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Markdump and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or the service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
